About Nasi Campur
Nasi Campur, meaning "mixed rice", is an Indonesian meal of white rice served with small portions of several side dishes, such as meat, vegetables, eggs, peanuts and crackers.
The side dishes vary by region and stall, and customers usually choose what they want from a display of dishes. Common choices include curry, satay, fried chicken, tempeh, egg, vegetables in coconut milk and sambal.
Bali has a famous version with pork, lawar (a spiced vegetable and meat mix) and crispy pork skin. Nasi campur is also eaten in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
