About Buffalo Wings
Buffalo Wings are deep-fried chicken wings tossed in a spicy, tangy sauce of cayenne pepper hot sauce and melted butter. They are a favorite American bar food and party snack.
They were first served in 1964 at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York. The wings are fried unbreaded until crisp, then coated in the sauce, with heat levels ranging from mild to very hot.
Buffalo wings are traditionally served with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing. They are very popular during American football games, especially the Super Bowl.
