About Timbits

Timbits are bite-sized doughnut balls sold by the Canadian coffee and doughnut chain Tim Hortons. They are much like the doughnut holes sold in the United States.

They come in many flavours, such as chocolate glazed, honey dip, old-fashioned plain, birthday cake and jelly-filled, and are sold by the piece or in boxes to share.

Tim Hortons first sold Timbits in 1976. The name is a play on the word "tidbit" and on Tim Horton, the hockey player who co-founded the chain, and Timbits are now one of the best-known treats in Canada.
